All our guests can use the summer mountain lifts free of charge and without limitation during their stay. These lifts will take you to the summit in no time, where breathtaking views, beautiful alpine pastures (Almen), and children’s playgrounds await you.

FREE AND UNLIMITED USE OF HIKING BUSES

All our guests can use the hiking buses free of charge and without limitation throughout the entire Hochkönig region (Mühlbach, Dienten, Maria Alm) during their stay. These buses will take you to numerous starting points for hikes or to various attractions.

FREE RIDE ON THE SUMMER TOBOGGAN RUN IN SAALFELDEN

With the HochkönigCard, all guests of the Marmotta Alpin Hotel receive a free ride on the summer toboggan run in Saalfelden. The 1.6 km long toboggan run winds through 61 curves. Fun for young and old guaranteed!

FREE ENTRY TO THE OUTDOOR SWIMMING POOLS IN MÜHLBACH AND MARIA ALM

In the center of Mühlbach, there is an outdoor swimming pool. Besides the 25-meter swimming pool, there is a children’s pool and a long water slide. The outdoor swimming pool is a ten-minute walk from the hotel and can be used unlimited and free of charge by our hotel guests. The perfect way to relax after a hike on the sunbathing lawn with a drink while the children splash in the water (or vice versa).

FREE USE OF TENNIS COURTS IN MÜHLBACH AND MARIA ALM

Fancy a game of tennis with friends or family? With the HochkönigCard, you can book a tennis court free of charge and enjoy a match with breathtaking views of the Austrian mountains.

FREE ENTRY TO THE COPPER MINING MUSEUM IN MÜHLBACH

You receive free entry to the Copper Mining Museum in Mühlbach, including an expert guided tour through the show mine. Mühlbach became known through copper mining, which forms an important part of Mühlbach’s history. Even though no copper is mined today, adults and children can gain insight into copper mining during a guided tour of the mining museum in the village.

 

FREE FAMILY FUN AT THE ALPINE PLAYGROUND ON THE KARBACHALM

The alpine playground at Karbachalm offers free family fun with Toni’s Family Trail. The use of the Karbachalm gondola lift and bicycle transport are also free for guests of the Marmotta Alpin Hotel.

FREE BICYCLE TRANSPORT ON THE MOUNTAIN LIFTS

Take your (e-)mountain bike up the mountain with the summer mountain lifts and explore the trails down into the valley from there. Bicycle transport is possible on several mountain lifts in the area:

  • dorfj@t Natrun,
  • 6-person chairlift Schwarzeckalm,
  • 6-person chairlift Bürglalm,
  • Karbachalm gondola lift.

FREE FAMILY FUN AT ERLEBNISBERG NATRUN

The whole family can have fun at Erlebnisberg Natrun. A special forest rope park for children with a flow trail, a forest slide park, and an adventure playground has been built on this mountain. The ride on the dorfj@t Natrun is also free.
